Additional vehicles must be parked in the village lot. Close to downtown,10 miles to Lake Placid, plenty of outdoor recreation such as hiking and kayaking nearby. Our cozy apartment attached to our garage can sleep 2 guests and provides a unique western vibe with views of our horses from the bedroom window. The property is roomy and private but also has two main houses and two barns within sight. We are 8 minutes from the Schroon Lake village with the river within walking distance to swim, kayak or tube in. For a couple who are looking to get away in the Adirondacks, this is a unique and appealing option. The house is 3.5 miles from the town of Essex, NY in the Champlain Valley.
