The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main residence, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if that's what you want! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach. Surf is nearby.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

A modern two bedroom house adjacent to the Redcourt Homestead. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen/dining/living room as well as a shower room and separate toilet. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. We provide bed linen and towels, and in the kitchen we provide some basic staples such as bread, milk spread, juice and cereal. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave and there is a 40 litre freezer compartment in the fridge.

Light filled space in my fully self contained studio. Private entrance and seperate to the main house this little oasis is a freshly renovated space. You'll have your own kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, balcony and parking space. The balcony is such a sun trap so perfect for morning coffee session or evening wine and cheese time. I have two pets on the property but will be in main house (a golden retriever & a ginger cat).
