Stargazzing opportunities galore, with unobstructed views of the night sky and very little ambient light from buildings and roads. As of June 2024, a portable AC unit is now available in the cabin.

Completely updated 1940s cabin in Stanley proper. Open Loft upstairs, sleeps 4 (queen bed (new mattress ‘23) and twin trundle). NOTE: tight for 4 adults upstairs. Living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Meadow Creek runs right through the property and continues into Valley Creek, a tributary of the Salmon River. Great fishing at the Nature Preserve just a block to the north. Walk or ride your bike to town. Incredible views of the Sawtooth Mountains. Quiet area on the outskirts of town.

Unwind at this beautifully restored 1932 cabin style home. This cozy house located in Challis Idaho is the perfect spot to relax, slow down, and unwind. For adventure seekers, it is the ideal home base. We are about a 30 minute drive from Gold Bug Hot Springs. We are in walking distance to local restaurants, bars, and the library. A great thrift store is right across the street! There is a local spring where you can fill your water bottles with fresh water.

You’ll love my place because of the rustic coziness, within walking distance of restaurants and bars, festival events, and enjoying the scenic outdoor activities of the area. Challis Cabin

This cabin is in a quiet ranching neighborhood. It is near our other Airbnb rental, the “Challis Guesthouse”, and our personal home. It is 16X24 with a complete kitchen, and bathroom. We will supply for our guests farm fresh eggs(when available), coffee, and some breakfast food for you to cook at your convince. There is a barbecue grill, and an outdoor propane fire pit. We have horse corrals and could board a horse with prearrangements.
