Greenshadows - a detached 16th-century Scottish cottage fronting River Leny with views of Ben Ledi in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The house has a rich history. Locally called ‘The Pink House’, it was a safe haven during the Jacobite uprising. The author of ‘The Junglebook’ is thought to have resided at Greenshadows for a short period. Of note is William Turner’s painting of Ben Ledi from Kilmahog Bridge (on display at the Tate Gallery) just a few hundred metres away.

We have been up and running for 18months now really loving having people here. We converted the old barn on the upper level 2 years ago. Homemade jam ,fresh eggs on arrival etc It has its own access . you are totally private ., We are in the middle of scotland! If its your 1st time allow at least 2 days to visit the area ,wether its Stirling/Doune Castle or Dunblane ,Bannockburn ,the Highlands, loch Lomond. the famous golf course of Gleneagles is 15 minutes up the road. The list is endless!

This is a lovely semi-detached cottage which was fully redecorated in 2018 to a high standard. Blackford is a lovely little village with an Inn & a village shop. It is the home of Highland Spring & Tullibardine Whisky Distillery. The world famous Gleneagles hotel is a couple of miles up the road.
