Close to nature, self-contained; a haven of tranquillity. Set in the beautiful Adelaide foothills, a prime location within easy reach of walks, cafes, transport, etc PLEASE READ; this is a rustic cottage. The shower setup is unconventional, though does provide a warm - hot shower depending on the weather! - READ BELOW. The cottage cold water tap is drinkable, no hot tap. Self contained cottage with modern ensuite set on a 10 acre alpaca farm with amazing sunset views over the ocean. 25 mins from Adelaide CBD, 15 mins from McLaren Vale wineries or the beach, 3 mins from the quaint town of Clarendon. Guests are welcome to interact with the alpacas & enjoy the gardens. Kangaroos & koalas are often around the cottage. Ideal for a quiet retreat. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 25 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

2 night minimum. Queen size bed and living room in private wing of our home. Separate entrance. Continental breakfast included, own bathroom with separate toilet, shower/ bathroom. Kitchen space has a toaster oven and microwave but not full kitchen. Quiet location, , 15 minute walk through leafy streets to railway station. 20 min drive to Adelaide city. Sofa bed in living room can accommodate another guest or two for $15 per person per night. No smoking anywhere on our property please.

Space & peace to self isolate in beautiful surroundings with lots of trees & fabulous views. Sit by the wood combustion fire & warm your soul or lie in until lunchtime in soft linen sheets, listening to birdsong. Lost in the Vines is a very private space in the McLaren Vale wine district, surrounded by vines & views, with lots of great walks, wineries & restaurants nearby.
