Mtn. Time House w/Tree House Like Back Deck

Our home is located right after mile marker 190 on the BRP. It’s located near many wineries, golf courses, hiking trails, rivers, 20-25 minutes from White Sulphur Springs Wedding Venue, and many other great attractions. It has a large deck that feels like a tree house with a grill, hammock and table. The inside has a warm "at home” feel. We are located within an hour drive of many great small towns. Everything you need is here and ready for use. Come relax and enjoy your stay on Mountain Time.

My place is on Blue Ridge Parkway on mile post 191.4. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambience, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Two Bed Rooms (One King Size and one Queen size beds) Security Camera; One Camera is pointed at the front door. NO CAMERA POINTED AT THE DECK!!!!!! Address: 350 Meadow Run Ln Ararat, Va. 24053 XXXXX MAPS IS WRONG. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS I HAVE PROVIDED!!!

Close to several wineries,New RiverTrail; Blue Ridge Parkway; Floyd Va; Hillsville flea markets Memorial Day/Labor Day; Mt Airy, N.C. Due to remote area some cell services don’t work as well. Verizon is best. Occasionally WiFi may act up but usually good. Worth the stay if you want to relax and unwind away from city issues. Peaceful incredible views. Short hike to mountain stream on property picnic area. Water is from a deep well, tested and 100% free of any bacteria. No RVs.

Kibler Valley Cabin

Our cabin is located in the picturesque Kibler Valley just over the Virginia state line. It is equidistant from Mt Airy, NC and Stuart, VA. It is located directly on the Dan River, just down the mountain from it's headwaters. The property sits 4 miles down a 6.5 mile dead-end road. At the end of the road is a hydro-electric power plant. During the summer months the water from the dam is released on week-ends which makes for fantastic kayaking and tubing.

It has been meticulously redecorated in 2015-16, with an elegantly simple flavor. The peace and quiet of this country setting is unsurpassed. You’ll love watching horses over your morning coffee. Come spend some time in a real, completely refurbished railroad caboose (with all the modern amenities) just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Orchard Gap, approximate mile 193.5. Probably the most unique lodging along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We now have disc golf baskets and discs as well as cornhole sets. Pet owners please read the pet policy under additional rules. We DO NOT have any cleaning fees, never have. The service fees are not ours.

House is located at 51 Crooked Oak Rd. Take Highway 58 East out of Hillsville 9 miles. Turn right on Crooked Oak Rd. '51' sign 400 yards on right. From the Blue Ridge Parkway near milestone 194, take Thunder Ridge Road.
