The Milk Barn Cottage

Built in the late 1940's as a working milk barn, the Milk Barn Cottage is 800 sq. ft of cozy comfort. The cottage is near the foot of Monteagle Mountain in the beautiful Pelham Valley. We are half-way between Nashville and Chattanooga, about 2 miles off exit 127 on I-24. The Caverns is about 8 minutes away. Pelham has a coffee shop and quaint restaurants to visit plus all of the natural beauty in our area. We are also just 13 miles from Sewanee and the University of the South.

This farm stay is in half of a renovated garage on our working sheep farm. Enjoy the sheep, livestock guardian dogs, and slower pace, while still being close to area attractions. It has an open downstairs with a full kitchen, bathroom, dining area, pool table, and porch. Sleeping areas, upstairs in the attic, or in our sleeping loft are too short for standing but otherwise cozy for sleeping. Farm workers will be doing chores and interacting with the animals during your stay.

This modern, Scandinavian style cabin, sits on 20 private acres at a 1360 ft. elevation. The style sets it apart from other cabins. It is 13 miles from The Caverns concert venue (about a 20 minute drive). The cabin is close to Sewanee, which has many hiking trails and is home to The University of the South (about 7 miles from our cabin/ a 16 minute drive.) Other local hiking and recreation options include the South Cumberland State Park and Tims Ford State Park.

Cabin 111 - the best in location and comfort!

Cabin 111 has a queen bed (BRAND NEW mattress as of 12/29/20), wifi, roku tv, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and full bath. A deck off the back gives additional space for relaxing. SUPER close to the campus of the University of the South and downtown Sewanee. Enjoy privacy while having access to most things within a short walk. Hiking trails, restaurants, campus! Or just enjoy the nature and deer from the side patio.
