With its large size, easily fit a crib (there’s one onsite) or air mattress right in the room. Our queen bedroom is not only stylish but comfortable. The nearby guest bath features custom wall art with a double vanity, bathtub and shower. Outdoor Spaces The newly renovated front porch of this house is made for fun and relaxation! In the afternoon, take the kids across the street to the incredible Blowing Rock Elementary playground. In the evenings, retreat to the front porch to reflect on your day in the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy a beer while listening to music on the lawn (from May to October). A small but inviting front yard is surrounded by a hedge for privacy. Sit under the apple tree in a double Adirondack lounger to maximize your time away or fire up the on-site propane grill for a cookout. Extra Amenities & Details Guest amenities include a washer/dryer, crib and high chair, parking for one car at the main house with access to more parking by request. Enjoy a ping-pong tournament or shuffleboard game in the garage game room. Access to the entire home including the garage/game room. Owners live nearby and are available quickly if needed. The home is located in downtown Blowing Rock—one of Southern Living's favorite small towns. Leave your car keys behind and enjoy an easy walk to cute shops, delicious restaurants, and public parks. **HURRICANE NOTE: We have power, water, hot water, wifi and cool mountain air. Our road is fine and businesses in the area are opening back up and wishing visitors to return. Our 3600 square foot, three story home on the New River was one of the highest occupancy vacation rentals in Boone for years while we lived overseas. There is plenty of space in this large home. Propane gas fuel HVAC system for winter and air conditioning for the summer. Great home for family gatherings. Pets Welcome

The best mountain views in the area! Enjoy privacy and 180 degree southern views nestled inside Pisgah National Forest above 4000 feet. This home is 10 minutes from Grandfather mountain, and convenient to Sugar Mountain/Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. If you enjoy the quiet, peaceful serenity of the mountains this is the house for you.
