The nearby guest bath features custom wall art with a double vanity, bathtub and shower. Outdoor Spaces The newly renovated front porch of this house is made for fun and relaxation! In the afternoon, take the kids across the street to the incredible Blowing Rock Elementary playground. In the evenings, retreat to the front porch to reflect on your day in the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy a beer while listening to music on the lawn (from May to October). A small but inviting front yard is surrounded by a hedge for privacy. Sit under the apple tree in a double Adirondack lounger to maximize your time away or fire up the on-site propane grill for a cookout. **HURRICANE NOTE: We have power, water, hot water, wifi and cool mountain air. Our road is fine and businesses in the area are opening back up and wishing visitors to return. Our 3600 square foot, three story home on the New River was one of the highest occupancy vacation rentals in Boone for years while we lived overseas. There is plenty of space in this large home. Propane gas fuel HVAC system for winter and air conditioning for the summer. Great home for family gatherings. Pets Welcome

Top of the lake. Unbelievable view. Private.

This house has an absolutely amazing view, it really has to be seen to be believed. The house is private on a ridge, no neighbors nearby. It is totally peaceful. The house has just been furnished with new furniture and several updates including a recently renovated Kitchen. The top floor has a wood burning fireplace, bay window to enjoy the view and 2 bedrooms. The downstairs has a gas fireplace, a bar, piano and a 3rd bedroom. Both floors have full bathrooms. It is an amazing location.

This home is 10 minutes from Grandfather mountain, and convenient to Sugar Mountain/Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. If you enjoy the quiet, peaceful serenity of the mountains this is the house for you. Please note there is a 1/4 mile steep decent on an unpaved road to our house and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended.
