Peaceful, spacious and charming!! Guests often wish they could stay longer!! We have a self-contained, newly renovated cottage in a rural situation with harbour views. Suitable for one or two couples, (one king size bed/one queen size bed) and a sofa bed for an extra person, if needed. Linen provided. The kitchen is well equipped, with a microwave, bench oven and fridge/freezer. Hot Pools a 5 minute walk away. 5-10 minutes to Waihi Beach and about 15 minutes to Katikati and Waihi townships.

It's a two-minute walk from the Okere Falls store, where you can enjoy great coffee, food, and a German beer garden. A five-minute walk in the opposite direction will take you to a native rainforest with a 7-meter waterfall. The space is an open-plan room with a double bed, we can provide a single bed upon request. There is also parking space for a boat, upon request."

The property is on state highway two, 2 minutes to Katikati town which has a large variety of dining choices and services including a large supermarket .20 minutes to the city of Tauranga ,the beach & Mount Maunganui.Beautiful Waihi beach is approximately 12-15 minutes drive away.

There are friendly cats, a dog, alpaca, goats, geese, chooks, doves, aviary birds and Honey the horse. The open plan living area opens to 2 private verandah's with table + comfy outdoor furniture to enjoy a BBQ. The place is self contained with fully equipped kitchen. Not suitable for children, sorry. One hour to Opotiki ideal opening to the East Coast. The free pools at Kawerau are wonderful and will suit all ages in hot blistery Summer or cool Winter weather.
