Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

The cabin has 2 downstairs bedrooms one with a king bed and the other a queen. Upstairs in the loft is a full and two twin beds. If you are looking to get away from the crazy that life throws at us every day, we have the perfect get away for you... Catfish Cove is tucked away in a peaceful hideaway that no one will find you... Yes, we have wi-fi... but turn off the cell phones for a few days and enjoy the crickets and the fire flies... light up the fire pit and pass around the apple pie moon shine... might be fun to just lay on back and chill for a moment. The Blue Cat Lakehouse @ Barren River Lake

A newly constructed lakehouse provides an ideal space for family getaways, girls' trips, or a relaxing couples' weekend. We are conveniently located close to both Bailey's Point and the State Park boat ramp, and 30 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park. We also took great care in making the main level friendly for our guests with mobility issues. This includes no entry stairs, a walk-in shower in the master bath, and wide doors. Soft beds and an amazing stay awaits!
