Sunny Historic Urban Retreat Easy Stroll Downtown w/ Parking

Pull back the curtains in the evening and watch the cityscape shimmering. This second-floor apartment is in a building dating from 1910 and has been fully renovated. It features antique and Mid-Century wooden furnishings, decorative rugs, and colorful artwork. *Please note we have another apartment on the first floor you can book by searching https://abnb.me/o2Ri8IyK96 or “Historic Urban Getaway Stroll Downtown w/ Parking” Built in 1910, the building which houses two vacation rental apartments on the first and second floor respectively, overlooks downtown. Purchased by new owners, the house was totally renovated in 2018. The upstairs apartment: A private entrance leads visitors into an airy space that overlooks downtown with fantastic city views day and night. Best suited for 1-4 people, the spacious and comfortable 800 square-foot apartment offers sofa and den seating, an eat-in kitchen and a sunny sitting room. Two bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms round out the apartment. The cityscape shimmers at night, and light-blocking drapes are provided for those who want to sleep late. Daytime will bring the hustle of a revitalized neighborhood. This is an exciting time in Five Points, with longtime residents and newcomers joining in the recognition of Five Points as the newly coined “Downtown North”. Five Points Restaurant, Rosetta’s Kitchen, Little Jumbos’s, Greenlife (Whole Foods), Trader Joe’s, Harris Teeter, High Five Coffee, Asheville Yoga Center, Liberty Cafe, Habitat Brewing, Asheville Improv Collective, The Moog Factory, and the Ballet Conservatory of Asheville are all close neighbors, and the whole of Asheville’s famous bustling downtown is a short walk away. Guests have a private entrance with a small dedicated front porch to the second story apartment located inside a historic duplex. This urban apartment is dreamy for one, makes a perfect retreat for a couple, and is spacious enough to be comfortable for four guests. Guests enjoy completely private access with 24-hour entry via a lockbox. Street parking is plentiful and it is usually possible to find a spot right in front of the house. This neighborhood street offers free all-day and overnight parking, so once you park you can stay put. On site parking will be available by March 1, 2019. Guests are able to enter the space with a provided code and can enjoy privacy during their stay. However, as the rental manager, I am available 24/7 by phone or the via AirBnB app ahead of and during every stay. I have lived in Asheville for over 25 years and enjoy helping guests create their own unique trip and learn about this amazing city. I provide maps and tour information for each visitor. The apartment is in the thriving Five Points neighborhood connecting downtown, the Greenway, UNC Asheville, and beloved Montford. With amazing city views, many of Asheville's best restaurants, bars, and breweries are a short walk away. Napa Auto Parts is one of our neighbors and the sound of their dumpster being emptied, which happens weekly but not on a set schedule, may be heard in the apartment. Walking is the most obvious and simple way to get around, and the city is home to many avid bicyclists. Asheville an easy city to navigate by car and parking in decks and private lots as well as metered street parking is readily available downtown. In other parts of the city parking is free. Buses, greenways, and Uber and Lyft are all easily accessible. A car will be the best choice for exploring the many amazing hikes and attractions further out. The renovation included advanced acoustical insulation. Rugs, slippers-only indoors, and observation of a quiet 10pm through 8am help mitigate noise. The majority of sound transmitted to the neighboring apartment are as upstairs neighbors enter and exit, so please remove shoes at entry and observe quiet on the stairs. The normal clatter associated with an urban location is buffered in this second story hideaway by good insulation, and high-quality double-paned windows. A sound machine in each bedroom and ear plugs are provided for our more sensitive guests. • Quiet hours 10 pm to 8am. • Federal Holiday weekends require a 3 night reservation and no check-out on actual holiday. • Not suitable for children (0-12) • Not suitable for pets • Parties will not be tolerated. • Absolutely no smoking indoors. • This is a shoe-free home. Please take your shoes off before heading upstairs and feel free to borrow some provided cozy slippers. Please acknowledge: • Potential for noise: This is an urban location and businesses on adjacent lots receive night deliveries. Refunds will not be given. • Second story apartment, one flight of stairs. • Security Deposit - $400. Fees for damages resulting from your stay will be deducted from the security deposit.

Best location in downtown Brevard! Beautiful downtown apartment is in the ground level unit and includes large front yard and porch areas. Welcome to our sanctuary on the hill just a mile from downtown Asheville. This is a sweetly remodeled 1 bedroom basement apartment with its own private entrance. We have all utilities and luxuries restored after hurricane Helene and look forward to hosting you! This is a pet friendly space in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. We do live on a hill and parking is on street but it is low traffic and a short walk to several restaurants and cafes.
