**HURRICANE NOTE: We have power, water, hot water, wifi and cool mountain air. Our road is fine and businesses in the area are opening back up and wishing visitors to return. Our 3600 square foot, three story home on the New River was one of the highest occupancy vacation rentals in Boone for years while we lived overseas. There is plenty of space in this large home. Propane gas fuel HVAC system for winter and air conditioning for the summer. Great home for family gatherings. Pets Welcome

My Cozy Cabin is close to The Blue Ridge Parkway. There is a lake that is directly across the country road from the property that gives it a feeling of serenity. The Cabin and surrounding area lend itself to reading, napping, watching TV or just a place for the Traveler who wants to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains and Beyond…It has All the Amenities of a Regular Home. The cozy house is 15 minutes to Jefferson and West Jefferson 3 minutes to Shatley spring restaurant 5 minutes to RiverHouse restaurant 15 to red dog restaurant so much to do in Ashe. When you want to relax you are able to sit and enjoy the view from the back porch and listen to the river, enjoy all kinds of birds sing. This place is a beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable. there’s no access to the river but ask me and I know a lot of places where you can go ad fish or get in tothe River!

Carter’s Hill Cottage sits on two acres and is only three miles from the Twickenham House. Enjoy the sun coming over the mountain while you sip on a hot coffee while sitting on our fully covered front porch. The cottage is only minutes from the towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson with a view of Mt. Jefferson (4665 ft) in front of the cottage and Phoenix Mtn to the rear of the cottage. Although you are so close to all the fun, you are secluded with no neighbors in view.
