Charming dog friendly cottage located minutes away from historic Georgetown only about an hour from Charleston. Whether you want to sit on the large porch and enjoy listening to the birds sing or watch them fly back and forth through the beautiful trees. The tiny house is located in our backyard in a small town, Moncks Corner, South Carolina. As you enter the house, you will notice that it is small but it has everything you will need to enjoy your stay! A kitchen to cook in, a table to eat or work at, a nice place to shower and sleep - all in the same room. It is small yet very comfortable and welcoming! We operate off of well water. If you are not used to well water, the smell can sometimes be surprising. Please note: the water is safe.

The first guest comment I hear is "Wow - pictures don't do this place justice - the house is incredible and the views are spectacular! The next comment is "I thought we were way out in the country but it's only 20 minutes to the waterfront town of Georgetown, with shops, dining, museums and more. Looking to get away? This place is truly a retreat- a 3 bedroom house on the beautiful Black River in Georgetown. Four kayaks provided, swim or fish off the dock just a few steps from the house.

Maggie Jo’s paradise on the river !

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Maggie jo is a 1970 completely restore houseboat. She has got a full size refrigerator , gas range ,microwave and toaster oven. Out on the back deck she has a gas grill. The aft berth has 2 full beds that are extremely comfortable. Galley dinette make into bed and the couch in the saloon pulls out also. While on the decks you will see eagles, dolphins , gator or fishing jumping out of the water. I also have 2 tandem kayaks for your use.

We are on the Waterfront, also the natural part of Murrells Inlet. We have beautiful sunrises and views of the Inlet from our patio and backyard. The Waccamaw Neck Bikeway, which is part of the East Coast Greenway, runs in front of our home. Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens 1 mile South of us. The Marsh Walk is 2 miles to the North. Grahams Landing Restaurant is one lot over from us, within walking distance
