Newly built/designed cabin on the 'quietside' of Mount Desert Island (in the town of Southwest Harbor). A short drive to downtown, this one bedroom with loft cabin is warm and cozy. With gas fireplace, AC unit, and all the amenities one would need to begin and end a perfect day in Acadia National Park, it is situated close to nearby hikes, water access for boating, sailing, and ocean kayaking. Southwest Harbor has many wonderful restaurants, lobster pounds, coffee shops, galleries, and shopping.

PETS MUST BE DISCUSSED. We accept crate trained pets for an extra service fee that we charge after you make your reservation. INFANTS must be mentioned when you request to book and they must be listed as a guest or child. We charge for all people, inlcuding infants. This is a summer cottage that we also rent in the spring and fall when weather permits. It is heated with wood and you will need to use the wood stove. Ideal for the adventurous outdoors type only! Small minimalist A-frame cabin in the woods, overlooking Taunton Bay. A short but steep 1 minute hike to the cabin makes it feel even more secluded. Tandem kayak on the bay 2 minute walk away. Queen sleeping loft accessible only by ladder, 3/4 bath, efficient kitchen, 42" TV/DVD player, games. On a quiet private road 30 minutes to Acadia national park. 10 minutes to Ellsworth. NO WIFI. Calender is ACCURATE, check before messaging!
