Hear the surf not the cars: a perfect getaway holiday home. Enviably located in a quiet, private location only a few minutes walk from the beach, harbor and the town itself. Go on lovely hikes and water-based activities (great surfing) or relax under covered porch over-looking the river Rheidol. The bungalow sleeps 5 - all rooms on the one floor. Our family bought the house in 1963, and three generations have enjoyed holidays here, escaping from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The house is comfortable and homely rather than boutique. Perfect if you want to get fit as it is up a steep hill, but within walking distance of New Quay's beaches, shops and eating places, it is also a 5 minute walk to the Ceredigion Coastal Path.

Awelon, a lovely 5 bedroom cottage with sea views

Awelon is a light and airy cottage and is the perfect location for a lovely beachside holiday. The cottage is across the road from the promenade with easy access to the beach. It has sea views and a 3 mile beach to the front of the property At the back it, has mountain views, a garden with seating and ample parking. Very well equipped for a lovely break by the sea. The house has everything you need within walking distance, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and the train station.
