Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Great family apartment on the ground floor with stunning views to Lysefjorden. Closer to the fjord you won't be coming The apartment has a double terrace door onto the mountain. You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. You'll love my place because of its location, accessibility and quietness. Good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers and families. We have a fully functional kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower. We have beds for up to 8 persons. It is possible to add extra mattresses if needed for even more people. Naustet is brand new and part of the lake house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a dock with fishing opportunity. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the pier. Naustet is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the garden has a 5 km hiking trail.

The cabin is located a bit by itself on the edge of a farm, beautifully situated on the slope down towards the idyllic Riskedalsvatnet.
