Wonderful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the second floor, has a beautiful view over the countryside, is directly on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway you will reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box-spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with next to it the spacious bathroom. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

The heat comes from both the atmospheric complete spaces and from the pallet stove/outdoor fireplace. To make the most of it, there are bicycles, good Wi-Fi, high chair and games/books available. In a beautiful, quiet location in the middle of the forest stands our lovely cottage, suitable for 5 people and fully equipped. The cottage is located on Bungalowpark ’t Giethmenseveld which is located in the middle of the woods at the foot of the Lemelerberg and Archemerberg and about 6 kilometers from the cozy town of Ommen. In the park there are various facilities, such as a reception (for a newspaper, eggs and freshly baked croissants), outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and playground.

Please read the advertisement carefully before booking. I would love to make you welcome in our wonderful home in Hoogedijk. Our home is a completely renovated dike house from 1889, and your room has beautiful views of the Gouwzee and in the evening, you can see the lights of Monnickendam. After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

A special place, because you literally walk up the heath from our yard. No traffic, no neighbors, no crowds. The adventure starts on arrival, because in order to reach our cottage you must drive a short kilometer on a sandy road. This road is not accessible to traffic. Much quieter you won't get it in the Netherlands!
